For this simple, yet efficient office party craft you'll need the following items; Small, unglazed clay (terracotta) flowerpot, green floral foam, medium sized rock or paperweight, A ballpoint pen with a top, Green florist tape, Tissue paper, Disposable rubber gloves, Hot glue gun and glue.

You'll start your office party craft item by cutting the green floral foam to shape and placing it into your terracotta pot. It's easier though, if you've picked up a foam piece that is already precut to the size and shape of your pot. Before placing the foam in the pot, drop the rock in the bottom to serve as a weight in your pen holder.

Next you can decorate your pen to look like a flower. First, wrap the pen with green florists' tape. Make a tissue paper flower and glue it (using hot glue) to the end of the pen. Or you can glue a silk flower to the end of your pen.

Take the pen top and press it top down into the floral foam. Stick your pen flower down into the pen top, which act as a holder. Viola! You've just completed a simple, Flower Pot Pen holder for your office party craft. Make more flower pens to accent your pot.

If you find that your floral foam comes out of the pot too easily, you can apply a small amount of glue to the sides before slipping it into the pot, Let dry and then you can safely 'plant' your pens and take them out to use them.
